An industry-recognised diploma
The school offers an intense, full time, eight-week course. Kristen Stewart School of Make-Up also only teaches fashion photographic make up for fashion shows, photo shoots, moving film, etc. The school does not teach special FX or stage make up. Although master classes in body art are offered, it is not in the Diploma Curriculum. What the school provides is an industry- recognised diploma.
New Zealand Fashion Week
Kristen Stewart School of Make-Up is the only school in New Zealand that takes their graduate and attending students to NZ Fashion Week. We have been taking teams up since 2009, and last year (2019) we had more shows than ever and more than any other make up house. Because of this, we are took our biggest team to date. This year we are looking forward to doing the same again as an official partner to this prestigious event!
Work opportunities
Kristen Stewart School of Make-Up students will see, even prior to graduation, opportunities that will open up in fields like photo shoots, weddings, magazines, music videos, fashion shows, films, commercials, advertising, television, freelance, and make-up counter work. The school endeavours to help students find work once they graduate.
Small class with a lot of One-on-One
Unlike the rest, only a maximum of 10 students are taken by school. For Kristen Stewart School of Make-Up, it is all about one-on-one with the students and getting to know them and their work.
Kristen Stewart School of Make-Up ensures graduates are work-ready to the highest international standards, and students are encouraged to express their individuality through their work.
The school also offers a varied range of short courses for those who wish to learn the craft of make-up artistry and become more confident in their application, knowledge, and in applying the latest seasonal styles.
Kristen Stewart School of Make-Up is, therefore, more of a boutique school, a beautiful place to learn.
Work Experience
Kristen Stewart School of Make-Up offers the students the opportunity to go on work experience whilst studying at the school. We work closely with many industry professionals who enjoy offering the students a platform to build their portfolio and CV.

The school is very lucky to be sponsored by M.A.C. Cosmetics. The students are supplied make up and brushes as part of their school fees. Kristen Stewart School of Make Up is also equiped with a large master kit that has every M.A.C. product you can think of to create and become the make up artist of your dreams.
